Paddle shifter problem!
Has anybody in the diesel community with the sport wheel and steptronic paddles, do the M3 wheel DCT paddle swap? If so, has anyone had problems with getting the M3 paddles to work? I have done this swap and cannot get these damn paddles to shift for me. I'm just trying to isolate all variables before I suspect the paddles are defective. Any info on your experiences on specifics such as which pins are occupied on which particular paddle set would be appreciated.

You might also PM the op of that thread, he seems to know a great deal about this install. |

I've thought about doing this myself, but with a couple of loaners with those shifters, I find myself missing the dual direction of the ones on my '10. I prefer the old ones over the new ones, if I'm being honest.

Coming from DSG audi and AT G37, the new ones are perfect.

I took off the Sport wheel & paddles & replaced them with the M3 wheel & paddle shifters on our 2010 335d. Plug & play. Left paddle downshifts & right paddle for upshifts.

I do have one more course of action in order to confirm if the paddles are defective, but I need a test mule. If anyone, in the Atlanta area, is willing to help out a fellow member and volunteer their car to swap my set of M3 paddles in, I would be very appreciative. I have lots of experience performing this task, I've removed and replaced mine at least 15 times now. Thanks.
