the midpipes go all the way to the down pipes?

^Yes. They bolt from the downpipe flange and go back about 3'. They eliminate the 2ndary cats. Then you can run either the borla touring or aggressive exhaust. Or like some have, the Flowmaster system.

It will bolt up to the factory DP flanges. Doubt/Not sure about mating the factory exhaust to it. I'm betting it "may" if you have a muffler shop weld it back up.
