HPI check

Thinking of looking at a second hand car being sold privately. It seems pretty cheap and would like to check out for finance, write off etc before going to view.

Whats the best system to use or does anyone on here for access to a free system?

i use autocheck by experian and as recommended by auto express magazine. not cheap though but i've found good results from searches showing detail of finance, plate changes etc.
