IF you own a 1M and Have Sirius please respond!

I unfortunately didn't get to choose this option with my vehicle (previous person ordered a stripper). When you have a minute, open the trunk, lift up the floor board, and tell me if there is a SIRIUS receiver in the wells just behind the rear seats.

I am hoping to confirm whether the '10 and beyond E82's have SIRIUS integrated into the Radio or have the separate receiver like the older models do so that I can put this debate to rest.

Thanks for your help!!

i was told by my CA that it's a separate receiver, and can easily be added later. interested to hear what other members are going to say about this.

I was too and quoted $995 + tax but it is now my understanding that it is integrated and requires a $350 unlocking code and programming at a BMW Dealer. Hopefully a forum member will see this thread and be able to answer our question with a quick look under the fold up trunk floor!

I think there are other routes to do this for less than the dealer. Either Mobridge or NavTV. However the dealer may still need to reprogram depending on the car.

Since I know whag neither of those are I will say all you need is $350 for the "unlock program" fee and labor for programming the local stealership of choice
