Turner Motorsports - What a joke.

My first time dealing with Turner Motorsports, and I must say I'm extremely unimpressed. Last week, I ordered some bilstein hd's for my 335 xi--when they arrived, the struts were for a non-xdrive e90. Luckily, I checked the parts numbers on the bilstein website, because the invoice said that they were for the x-drive. Almost installed them, thinking they were probably correct fitment.

Called them immediately, and told the sale's guy he'd screwed me, because I was going to install them this weekend (i.e. tomorrow) When I asked for some expedited shipping of the correct struts, I was told I'd have to pay extra for it--though it was clearly their mistake. Then, he conceded, and shipped 3 day ups, when I told him that I was prepared to just cancel the entire order.

So, my new struts showed today, and, you guessed it--wrong ones again. Sent me sport struts, and I had no plans of lowering the car or using other springs. Really? What a bunch of idiots. It's all going back on Mon. and I'm done with them. So, forewarned is forearmed when dealing with these guys.

Ouch..yea gotta be very picky when it comes to suspension shopping, you want a vendor that installs these all day as well as sells em..

Thats why I purchase my setup from www.hpashop.com

Harold is one of the top suspension guys for this platform.

Good luck working it out..hopefully they give u something for ur troubles

Turner Motorsports- what a joke

That would be nice, but I doubt it given their attitude on shipping. Wonder what would the ride be like if I used the stock springs ?

First off, I apologize for the mistakes. We’re human so there is no avoiding them. We track this sort of thing and our average is actually very impressive (keep in mind that we process over 750 transactions a week). Unfortunately, you got the brunt of those last week. I don’t think it’s an indication of the way we conduct business that one customer got two mistakes in a row. But there’s no excuse for mental errors like this.

Whatever you want to do we will do it. You may think of us as ‘idiots’ but we’ve been in the retail business for almost twenty years so we’re doing a lot of things right. One of those things is that we go to great lengths to please customers so we do everything we can to turn those feelings around. Afterall, it wasn’t intentional or personal. We want everyone to be a happy customer and strive to make that happen.

We’re open to suggestions at this point. You can contact me through this site or by calling or e-mailing. We have the HD struts reserved for you if you would like us to fix the mistakes and finish the order.

Thank you,

Drew

Six mistakes a week out of 750 transactions is nearly 1% (0.8%)
Not .008%. Another mistake. That makes 7.

So when or if I order from you guys I have to hope that I'm in the 99% category so I don't get a screwed up order....jeezus.

Oops. Shot myself in the foot.

Thankfully it's a new week. For a single customer to get two mistakes is extremely rare.
