Part check up look up
I'm on a European Delivery trip and had my 1M break-in service. I see they used the correct rear differential oil (83222282583) on my car. However, they used 83222180697 for my transmission fluid. I'm in Munich, and I can't seem to communicate to them well about this issue. Does anyone know what part number they used for my transmission?

Below is a thread with fluid numbers, but the consensus is either 83222167666 or 83222156969 depending on size of the container. It should be MTF-LT-5, though.

Thanks! This helps a lot. I will go back to the dealership tomorrow and see what's going on. I'll bring that notice too. I wonder what the old part number I got is then.

I went back to the dealership and had them look up the part description. Part number 83222180697 IS MTF-LT-5 transmission fluid. The parts department showed me the description right off the computer screen. I was told the reason the part number is different due to the amount of tranny fluid sold. The part number I got is for a drum, not a 1 liter bottle.
