FS: Custom Magnaflow mufflers wth 4" Stainles tips (E90)
These require a muffler shop to weld them on, but they are meant to work with the stock e90 pipes. I've decided to sell them, because the wife thinks they are just too loud. Asking $200 plus shipping. Pictures Last edited by C4sF80M3; 10-25-2011 at 07:15 AM.. |

Unfortunately I didn't capture any good ones before I removed the exhaust. This started as a project 2 weeks, where I completely removed the rear mufflers from the car. Sounded amazing, but just way too loud for my wife and kid. So I found the mufflers that Magnaflow used on their "sport" kit, and put those on to quiet it down some. Which it did, and the exhaust sounds great on the track, however, like a lot of the exhaust kits on the market there's still a bit of low end drone at 2000~2300 rpms, which makes its too annoying for them to ride in the car. I was going to put in some aftermarket resonators, but I decided to stop hacking on the stock exhaust and just build a completely separate exhaust for the track.
I do have two videos I captured, one inside and one outside the car on a cold start. Although I just realized the audio on the outside one is a little messed up. So if you can imagine quieter than no mufflers, but definitely louder than stock. Mine (idle): http://c4-motorsports.com/c4dyndns/p...flers/vid1.mp4 http://c4-motorsports.com/c4dyndns/p...flers/vid2.mp4 Very close to this Magnaflow exhaust except I don't have BOV's: |

Do these come with mounting hardware/brackets/bushings/etc.(everything required besides welding to stock piping) and are they in the right location to fit a 335i sedan? If so, how much shipped to 73162?

The mufflers will mount to the stock rear bushings/brackets, and they came off my 2007 335 sedan in the pictures link. So everything you need is already welded to the muffler. Just keep your stock bushings and brackets so that the muffler shop can easily attach it to the car. The muffler shop will just need to cut off your mufflers, and weld these in it's place.
I think Fedex estimates the cost to around 20bucks for shipping, so $220 total. |

Can anyone add to this ? I am really interested. If all I have to do is tell the shop to add an extension then I am in.
