What Year TPMS Work with 1M?

I am looking at used set of 18" M3 wheels with TPMS. I know someone already did it with a 2011 set, but anyone know what frequency or how far back in model years will they be compatible with our 1Ms?

I think I saw somethign somewhere about 2010 TPMS being same as 2011 but not sure?

Anyone know?

Anyone got a set of M3 takeoffs with tires and tpms for sale near SoCal?

Check the wheels and tyres section of M3 Post. There's heaps of em for sale. I recently had a set imported to Australia and they are going for an outing this weekend!

The sensors u need are 433MHZ. Tire rack has them in stock at a good price although they do no have them on their website.

Thanks, that's good info, but I am trying to go as cheap as possible so I am looking at takeoffs complete with tires so I can just bolt them on. Does anyone know how far back the 433 MHZ go back in model years? A guy has a set of 2008 M3 18" wheels complete with tires and TPMS. Want to find out if 2008 set would work with 1M?

2008 will not work. I don't remember if its 09 or 10 where it changed. Due a search and you will find out but 08 is different.
