E92 Coupe : Paris Motor Show - September 2006
E93 Cabriolet : Detroit Motor Show - January 2007

Those dates sound right; my 04 will be ripe for trading for a brand spanking new 07 cabrio.

drkeng is your 04 a convertible too? How do you like it compared to a coupe? Much bodyflex?

These dates sound soo wrong ... ive heard a lot about it ... but the latest ive heard was its release in Spertmeber of 06 not at some Auto show.. but hey who knows???

Why do they assign different code for 3-series coupe (E92) and cabriolet (E93)? 4-series?
