Front scoop scrape GGRRRRRRRRR
It was bound to happen sooner or later. I got up a little early this morning to take "the scenic route" into work. I *thought* I went slow enough leaving the driveway, but then I head a slight gruuuuunk . Sigh. Anyway, it looks like it's only 3 tiny scratches way underneath. Maybe I can buff it out. Anyone have ideas? The good news is...the ride was awesome. First time I had some good backroads. Perfect, crisp fall morning with leaves changing. Nice PA countryside twisties and deserted roads. The car is absolutely amazing. Oversized go-kart.

What color do you have?
EDIT: Nevermind...Just saw VO. I was going to say...if you have BSM, you can use a product by turtle wax to fill in the scrapes, but they don't make an orange product I would say, buff it and forget it. Like you said "it was bound to happen". So true... |

On my ED I scraped too. But then I couldn't find any scratch, only one of the screws holding the bumper looked like it hit the road briefly :P

they are badges of honor guys, There is just no real way to protect the underside of the bumper on every road / situiation...
Take a deep breath... sigh a little that it happended... and then go drive fast enough to make you forget it just happened... much more things in life to worry about...

2" that's nothing... I've got the subdivision rounded curbs that are like 5" high... I'm actually pleasantly surprised that it hasn't been a major issue so far... but I am sure that one day I won't angle it enough and it will scrape.
