Hi :)

Hey Guys,

Got my 2011 BMW 335I Sedan M Package at the end of August and for the first time I have invested major money in a car performance wise. Here are the mods I have done so far:

Procede- I have it in Map 2... Does Map 3 make it slower than stock to make it more fuel efficient, that's my question. Why would anyone choose 0 or 3?

AR 4' Downpipe
AE Exhaust System removed catalytic converters
AFE Air Intake
Helix Intercooler with Chargepipe- Barely got it yesterday, will be installed next week.

I ordered some Sparco 18' wheels and will get new tires, replacing the stock rims, tires, and removing the catalytic converters, i can expect to save 100lbs over stock.

Eagerly waiting for a turbo upgrade, any more suggestions on what i can do to increase performance?

Btw its my first BMW, i traded in my 2010 IS350 for this beast!

Hey just curious here, but I have my first ever BMW, a 2011 335i e90 M, but I'm so worried about warranty issues. What do you guys do? Replace all mods prior to service? Especially exhaust. I mean $53k is not cheap for a car. I value the warranty too much to have dealership void me for some mods. Just curious what the average 335 owner goes about all this.
Btw congrats on your purchase. I love this car and can't wait for 2013 to get the new M3(BMW as a whole is awesome). Getting the ppk installed this Wednesday. Once again in fear of losing warranty I'm paying a premium for minimal HP, but I keep piece of mind.

yea, unless you know your SA well and such, you should take off all mods prior to service..

+100

Get a charge pipe on there with a meth bung as the stock one is prone to leaking boost, especially when tuned so an aftermarket pipe is a great preventative measure and if you are going to get meth its the best way to get a meth bung in the intake system.

Map 3 is open wastegate, dumping all the boost. Not sure why you'd use it or if you'd get better efficiency running that way day-to-day though.

Yeah that's what I figured bummer. That's why I wish Cobb had an OBD ll flash tune for the N55.
Anyone know a good SA in the SoCal area? San Diego if best. Cause I know if I try an ECU piggy back i would screw things up lol. Oh well

Thanks for replying. I appreciate it.
