Anyone interested in the ps2's after I take them off of the car

I plan to mount r comps on the stock wheels and really have no use for the ps2's. Anyone have any interest in buying tires with 800 miles on them?

ditto, FWIW UPS will let you just packing tape two tires together and ship them without a box.

Unlikely that you will get anywhere near that. Just like a new car that is used the second you drive it off a lot, so are these tires. And these tires are not "limited production" just because they came off a limited production car. Good luck!

This is true. And it also true that the PS2 is being largely discontinued, and that Tire Rack lists the next generation Pilot Super Sport, the tire that is replacing the PS2, at $1242.

Interesting and good to know.

At this point I will probably just dd them and dismount them in the. Spring to put r comps on for testing. I have some 18's and some romps for the few events that can be run in. The car before it gets too cold.

After looking the replacement is a 300 tread wear tire vs the ps2 at 220. That is the price difference, the new tire is a less sticky tire.

You don't keep up with street tires, do you? Click on the "tests" button for the PSS. This is the tire that has been winning every tire test it's been entering this year. It pulled 1.07 Gs on this skidpad at the tire rack. The last PS2 test was .98 Gs for reference. The PSS pulled .97 Gs on the wet skidpad.

Actually the Super Sport matched or beat the PS2 at everything while still getting longer threadlife. I believe, especially in wet.

Just to clarify.
