My M3 has a new friend at home....

Well, I brought a friend to hang out with my M3.....

Now which one would I sell and which do I keep or should I sell both or keep both?

Decisions, decisions...

Should have decided 'which one' you would want to keep before you went out and bought the 1M.

Keep both if you can afford it.
Sell the M3 if you have to let go of one.
(Damn, that was hard to type. The M3 is epic.)

After spending the whole summer in the 1M (first bmw i have driven) , i can tell you that even with the ess tune and the brand newness, the m3 is just amazing!!!!!! I friggin love it! I cant and dont want to decide wich i like best.....( leaning towards M3 ).... What an engine ! Jesus !!!

that M3 is really badass, but the 1M will be remembered in history a little more (in my opinion). shouldn't be that hard of a choice for you.

OUCH!! Nothing wrong with buying a 1M sight unseen, and if it doesn't thrill you in every way... then selling it...... It's not like most people are going to lose much if they sell it right now... Heck... many people with a long bucket list of cars that they want to experience, may consider the price of taxes plus a few hundred extra dollars in interest a very Inexpensive way to own a classic for a short period of time..

As far as the OPs decision... If you can't keep both. I really think it's an easy choice in favor of the 1M..

If it were an E92 M3, then I'd say sell it. I had an E46 and an E92 at the same time and believe me, the E46 is the much better DRIVERS car. I sold the E92 to make way for the 1M. After almost 10 years with the E46, I still can't believe how good it is!

So keep both. I will have my 1M as my DD, the E46 as my "beater", and my 1967 Ferrari 330 GT as my weekend car.
