Just got my 335i. Question about Steptronic shifting.

I just got my Alpine white e90 335i (Step) today. I have never driven another 335i Step, but does the shifting from 3rd to 4th gear feels a little sloppy in "D" mode when driving with light throttle?
Thanks

I had an issue with downshifting from 3rd to 2nd in my E90 325i. Took it to the dealership, said it had to do with idling firmware. They flashed it and it was fixed.

Else shift it into manual mode and see if it gives you the same problem. My car jerked really noticably.

Well, I just took the 335i for a drive. The shifting seems smoother now after I put some miles on the car (or maybe I'm just getting used to it).

Congrats on the new toy!
Mine shifted a little kludgy at first (barely noticable), but smoothed out after a while. I'm past 8k now, and I can barely feel the shifts. Passengers can't tell at all.

If you wanted to shift for yourself, you bought the wrong animal.

Shifting in drive mode is like that "sloppy" "slow" "relaxed" ...just to save on gas. Its not sloppy or slow in DS is it.
