Florida Track Options

Does anyone know if there are any tracks in general South Florida region where we can take our cars and open them up a bit? There seem to be quite a few facilities in other parts of the country, but I haven't heard of anything down here.

As for right now, I bet any road near the southwest tip would be nice since everyone's getting the hell outta there.

Moroso is the only nearby track, and Sebring if you want to drive a little further.

petefalzzz wants to know about race tracks in FL.

As someone said, there's Moroso Park, Sebring and Homestead. The problem is that no track is going to allow you to drive it unless you rent it and provide insurance. Your best bet, IMO is to join the BMW CCA chapter nearest you. The club likely offers schools either alone, in conjunction with other chapters or with other car clubs.

both of those tracks are accessible via clubs, yes. My friend raced his car at Sebring. Your suggestion is good one.
