Christmas present ideas for us lot

Guys.

Sick of all the negativity.

I'm looking for Christmas presents... FOR ME! Or similar likeminded "men". Sport and car enthusaists. I also like a big fluffy jumper or cashmere item. And the love of a strong woman. Heh.

So. What sort of gifts do *you* hope santa brings you this year?

Not interested in gadgetry. I'm thinking in the <£100 region for any individual item as well.

I bought myself an Archos 70 IT which is a cheap Android tab - good for £99 and does all I need it to.

I'm also considering another SONOS unit for my last amp - but they are closer to £300.

For the first time yesterday I thought "a tablet might be a good idea".

Clearly I've gone strange.

I was fullscreen gaming on the lappy, hooked up to my 37" telly. sodual screen. but every time I click on the laptop screen, the secondary monitor exited full screen. Very annoying. I'm sure there's a workaround but still. All I had on the primary monitor was tabbing between email and a strategy guide (I'm replaying all the original zelda games in advance of playing skyward sword.. <- ultra nerd).

In that situation, book reader + email on tablet would have solved all my woes.

I have more or less every gadget on the market already.

iPhone, laptop, 3D tv, good sound system, every games console.. etc etc.

The laptop is also a dlna media server whenver it's online with my TV (thus hifi) in both rooms (bedroom / lounge) able to stream the media. So I'm set from that point of view. I've been meaning to split the media on to a standalone server and set of filesystem synchronisation for whenever I pick up anything new: But haven't been bothered to do it yet.

also I work in IT all day so rarely find the mood takes me to play technology in my spare time

but budget comes into it also. I've bought enough silly things this year already: So any xmas pressie is strictly limited price wise

I did just buy a flying fuck for the office (secret santa):

So I'll not be doing that for now. Although once the weather picks up I'm sure I will.

Your insurance should have windscreen cover that won't affect your no-claims bonus. And under that policy you will be able to replace the windscreen with an OEM glass. Don't accept a pattern-part - insist on OEM. Did that with my car a few weeks ago.

Yes it does Tone. I was hoping for a repair, as I didn't fancy a mastic monkey touching my motor, you know how it is

plus one!....got a small chip....quite close to the edge....so they will probably want to change the whole screen and i don't want them to mess up all the alignment and rain sensor etc....

I havn't a clue what I reasonably want for Christmas this year.

In a dream world, about 12k so I've got the money for the wedding and the remainder to add to our deposit for a house.

Just banking on winning the lottery at the moment. Id be happy with only 10k!
