Pretty quiet... you need to replace the mufflers too.

Was just the addition of the X-pipe noticable? I am not looking for a loud exhaust system at all, so if the x-pipe added just a bit more rumble, it might be a good option for some. Although I have a 535 so my sound would be quite different from the V8. And what about just catted DP's and stock mufflers?

I think that sounds excellent. More growl than stock and livable for a daily driver. Thanks for posting. I should have my M5 mufflers installed on an otherwise stock exhaust this week. I'll throw up some clips when its back.

It is just me or does the xpipe with stock mufflers sound pretty damn good compared to stock. I understand mufflers will help, but where can I get an xpipe that will sound like that? Thanks.

I think it sounds better in the video than it actually sounds.

I had my X-pipe custom fabbed, as for the 550 at 2.75" piping, there is not one readily available.

If you do end up going the x-pipe only route, make sure to zip tie open you exhaust flaps.

I have the m5 muffers, custom x-pipe(replacing oem center muffler) and the flaps tied open. I'll upload some videos with both the flaps open and closed. Pretty distinct difference, for the better, in terms of volume and a tad bit of tone change.
