Whats it worth E92 335d

Just looking a bit of advice on any ideas what my car would be worth in a private sale as i am tempted to go back to an M3 so i may sell the 335d
Had my local dealer offer me £23k for it just over a month ago but that was against a £45k 2011 M3 but to be honest i was tying up too much money so i am thinking of a 2009/2010 M3 or possibly going a for an E46 CSL

Anyway here's the details and some pics

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=588570

As you can see its White with Coral leather with 33k on it
Registered 16/5/2008 has extended warranty until 9th July 2012 and just had 6 months tax put on it
Was serviced recently less than 1k ago front brakes have 20k left rears 4k
New Bridgestone tyes within the last 1000 miles
Front bumper was painted to remove some stonechips and few scuffs underneath
Rest of car is superb no dents dings or scratches
Spec includes Sunroof, heated electric seats with electric lumber support,Pro- Nav with a 2010 disc,CD changer in boot,Folding auto dipping mirrors
19 alloys in excellent condition 2 off which were recently replaced due to having hairline cracks,TV function, bluetooth, front and rear PDC ,Sun protection glass etc etc
Genuine mudflaps M3 spoiler genuine black grills
Cars in superb condition and recently had a professional detail
Let me know what you think and how you would value it

Cheers Sean

Glass's Guide: Looks quite low, but a lot of cars are dropping like stones at the moment.

Something wrong there how can dealer offer 23k for 6 weeks ago all be it against a 2011 White M3 with competition pack with 6k on it costing £45k and the guide show it at under £16k

Just had a look on PH for 2008 M Sport 335d coupes and prices range from £20k to £24.5k varying miles but none with as a good spec and i believe my colour combination is one of the more sort after
Feel a bit relieved now as i know they are going down in price but seeing those guide prices made me feel ill

Well they could offer you £23k for yours against a £45k car

OR

Offer you £13k against yours but discounts the other car by £10k making it £35k

Which deal sounds better to you?

If the dealer thinks you are the sort of person who will be insulted by a low (but genuine) price for your car then he will offer you what appears to be a better deal for yours.

Ultimately it's the it's the cost to change that matters.

Do you think the dealer has 10k profit margin on a 2011 M3?

Agree with what your saying but the M3 was £65k new so the window price was £20k off the original cost when new
I checked around at the time and it was one of the lowest priced 2011 cars especially with the spec it had it was the MD's car so pretty much fully loaded
They had already dropped it £4k from £49k so even if i was buying straight i dont think i would have been much less
Seems there £23k offer was a good one
Anyways its sold now and i didnt want to outlay that much
Will see what happens if and when i decide to sell the 335d and see what they are making then

Thanks for replies anyway

Cheers Sean

It depends if you are looking at a trade in price or a private sale price - the two arent the same.

Private sale, you are looking at around £21-22k looking at what is available on autotrader

The dealer will have had margin to play with on that M3 as they dont pay retail price for thei MD's car and giving you a good trade in price on a 335d with a decent spec and colour against an M3 in the present cimate would have made sense

CAP trade price on yours is £16k average condition, minus any options. I'd say with you could look at £18-19k as a guide for trade.
