Downpipes/warranty issues?
Anyone in the Miami area taken their car for service with downpipes to Braman BMW and have had issues with it regarding warranty? Im debating wether to install them or not because of the warranty issue.

If you learn how to do the install yourself you can always take them off in case your car breaks down and need to take it in for warranty service. they are worth the effort!

I take mine with DCI, 3" DP and Exhaust to Braman Miami and no problems. I guess that depends on how cool your advisor is with mods.

Just bring it me, ask for Ray to be your adviser and Jack to be the tech. I'll take care of you.

Yeah right. Like they never make shit up so you end up replacing shit that is in perfect condition Also they never try to back out of fixing cars under warranty. |

You can always decline the offer. The service advisor tried to pull one on me telling me that my front control arms were worn out, but I declined and told him that I'll check it out as I haven't had any issues with squeaking or anything out of the ordinary to make me think they are worn out. Took it to my buddys lift and inspected them ourselves, and they were fine (just normal wear and tear, but definitely not worn out). The guy was trying to pocket $600 control arms after they had replaced one of my RFT's thanks to a nail in the tire under warranty.

That all depends on who is working on it. I have NEVER tried to sell anything a car didn't need. If my SA sells an injector flush service, guess what. I actually take my time to do it. It all depends on the tech man....we have a few techs and MANY MANY guys who just throw parts on it hoping it's fixed.

I'm very sorry to hear that I wish more people would take the time to be an actual tech and figure out whats wrong and fix it once and for all. I usually end up being the guy who fixes other peoples comebacks.
