335i as a loaner WOW!!!
Lauderdale BMW called me on Monday and told me they had a surprise for me. I had dropped of my car a 06 330i for a problem it had with the lifters. Originally they had given a 07 328 "sports wagon" I dont see whats sporty about it but w/e they decided to give me the 335 since it was going to be a while in the shop and they felt bad that I was young and driving that kind of car, so im S.A. (Joseph Grecko) made it up to me by giving me the 335i. Well to get to my point on Monday I picked up the 335 4 door, and WOW!!!! :rocks: This car is the shit, for those of you who own these twin turbo engines, you guys have a great car. The pick up on these cars is amazing. Since it is a Loaner I am really testing this cars capabilities, and let me tell you it has not let me down.
I am seriously considering one of these cars when my lease is up. The car has NO Turbo lag what so ever. I love how quick and responsive it is, when I was driving it down I-75 I easliy got to 130 in no time. I must say I am impressed with the way this car performes, I also like the dual exhaust and how it sounds when you turn it on(just like a g35 when it starts up). I do miss my car, in no way am I putting my 330 down, but it will be nice to have twin turbo's. To bad I couldnt have this car for the meet last week.

Cool, your SA is pretty thoughtful Yep, the car accelerates so fast w/o much effort and you hardly know how fast you're going till you look down at the speedometer. My passengers can't believe we're going at 80-90mph cos the cabin is so quiet!
BTW... I, umm, hit 140mph today, early on I275... was tempted to hit the limit but decided to regain my sanity and hit the brakes instead. Some older style Mustang was trying to race me, no match I seriously need to stop going past 100, actually 90 Too easy.

Correct, only has premium...the one I got is black on black. What do you think of the performance? Do you like it?

I just got back from some races in okechobbee, and people were impressed by the car, everyone loved it and were asking me questions about the turbo's and stuff. I beat a s2000, g35, 350z and a evo dont know which one though.

I have one..and recently got the chance to drive a friends NA 325XI that had some bolt on mods.
To be honest I felt I was having more fun driving the 325 than I did my car....there was a big thread a while back bout NA vs turbo...and I see it now..all that torque just washes out the fun lol. |
