335 Sedan > 335 Coupe

Have a 335 Coupe, but got a 335 sedan as a rental while my car was in the shop, and for some reason feels like the 335 is a whole lot quicker than my coupe. Is this entirely because of the weight? Because it really is a noticeable difference.

what on earth makes you think a sedan weighs materially less/more than the coupe.

You're right. The sedan is quicker than the coupe.

Quite the opposite for me. I wouldn't be caught dead is a coupe. Who do they think they are with only two doors. We tried to give you two extra, but they were all like "Nah, who needs four doors when you can cram people behind a sliding seat."

Adaptive throttle. Besides, loaner cars are fairly newer and have less milage on them.

How many miles on your coupe?

Pretty sure my car has lost some juice due to carbon buildup. Will be investigating shortly.

i think both the coupe and the sedan looks equally good, I picked the sedan so woman think i'm a bit responsible and they will let me impregnate them.
that and 4 doors comes in handy when hauling my friends around.
the sedan doesnt weigh to much more then the coupe but it does.

To me, that e92 coupe bodystyle is just soooo damn good looking. Sedan....good car, but I wouldn't get excited about it.

I would say the sedan needs some more cosmetic mods to look really good. The coupe however looks great straight out of the factory.

The dealer puts JB4's on their loaners so that it performs better than yours. Then you think something is wrong with your car so you either continually bring it for service or buy a new model

Sedan is more rigid due to the B-pillar. Also, marginally better weight distribution.

If you have an n54, the n55 does seem quicker when you are given it as a loaner. Much less turbo lag.

I like both the coupe and the sedan, but when I was searching for my car, the m-sport package was a necessity on the sedan. Without it, it just looks a little too tame. I ended up getting the sedan with m-sport btw

E90 = best looking sedan in it's class
E92 = best looking coupe in it's class

Different strokes for different folks.

Oh and it's not an issue of N54 vs N55.....it all depends what software version is on the car which is creating the lag.
