Dyno'ed..

Hit up M.Power dyno day with the local guys today.. grilling, beer, sick cars.. awesome time. Threw the 1er on the dyno (video)and this is what she put up.

2011 135i N55
-JB4 stg2
-Vishnu DP
-Vishnu CP
-aFe intake

Dyno Dynamics dyno
65 degrees and sunny

Map 0: 302hp / 325tq
Map 2: 331whp / 408tq

Not bad for a "heartbreaker" dyno, I think. Tune is good for about +50hp/+55tq at 4600rpm sweet spot, and about +80tq down low. The shop guys were all impressed at JB4 map switching on the fly and stealth boost gauge feature.. and the sound of the downpiped N55! Love my car, love my bolt-ons, love my tune. Intercooler/Meth next!

N55 FTW!

That d.d was not on the .099 correction factor!!I bet you if it was, your face would look like this. They had it on 1.2 correction factor to yeild the same gains as a dynoject. If it was on a real heart breaker correction factor, the car stock would have dynoed at 255 whp,and 300whp with the jb4 stage 2 on.

No. I specifically discussed that with the operator, it was yielding DD numbers. They asked if I wanted to read out Dynojet figures and I declined. 302/325 is exactly what you would expect with DP and 93 oct, so thanks but no.

Nice job Ian ... really nice numbers. I haven't dynoed mine yet. I have the BMS Stage 2 tune sitting here but not installed, gonna put it on next year (I can't put much on the ground with my winter tire setup).
135i is treating you well I assume?

Get 'er done bro! Thanks and yes I'm loving the 1er! Such a great little car. Let me know if you need any help with the St2 install and always remember to unplug your battery first!

Lets do it together one of these days! I want to see the difference between the 135i with the dct and the 335i with the step.

nice nice question. Does weight matter on a dyno? And also would the dct/6at make a difference too?

I don't think weight matters but I'd assume the DCT vs 6AT would because of different drive train losses.
