Can anyone see if their car is on the 10.24 Freedom yet?

Can anyone see if the shipping carrier that left Bremerhaven has posted their car manifest on their website yet? I have entered my VIN, but nothing is coming up. There is a chance my car is not on this ship, but it has been at the dock since Friday. This ship is for East coast and some midwest cars only.

How to check for East coast cars in transit:
Website: http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/index.jsp
Click on Customer Centre/Cargo Tracking
Then click on Auto Cargo
Then enter VIN#

Minlet - mine isn't coming up either, so I'm pretty sure I'm not on the ship...

Been at the port for about 4 days now.

I've been checking, as well. My car has been waiting at the dock for about 5 days now. The 800 # still says it's waiting for a vessel (that was as of last night) so I'm hoping that the phone system hasn't been updated yet and that my car did make it on.

I check about twice a day, so if I find out anything definitive I'll let you know.

BTW, I saw in a post either here or on bimmerfest that the shipping website can take a few days after the ship has left port to be able to track your car by VIN. Maybe I'm just grasping at straws, but I want to be on Freedom.

Guys, us three are in the same situation. at the port for 4-5 days, and headed to the east coast. i bet we're on the same ship, whatever it may be. The next two to NYC take 14 days (Mignon) and 17 days (Atlantic Conveyer).

I'll add my "me, too." I have been at the port for six days, awaiting a shipping vessel. Neither the 800 number nor the OC web site have indicated that my vehicle has shipped, and I get no information from the shipping web site, either.

I think I posted that. It can take a few days for the VIN to show up. The good thing though is that your car is on the way when you find out! Good luck to all of you, I hope you get shipped out soon.

I called the 800# this morning and it changed to "In Transit!"

Checked on the shipping website and my VIN now pulls up shipping information. Hooray! She will be here soon!

Also on the Freedom

The 800 number today told me that my car is in transit. Shipping web site also confirms that it is on the Freedom. Due in Charleston on Nov. 10!

Weird. Mine showed up on the shipping website first (yesterday), and just today OC switched over to in transit.

On OC it has my estimated delivery date listed as 11/11/2005. Can I assume that that is when I can expect the dealer to call me to come pick her up, or is that a delayed shipping date due to some storms in the Atlantic?

I think this is when you can expect to pick up your car. My "ship" docks on 10/30 (1 day delayed) and the OC shows estimated delivery on 11/4. Again, the VPC is the limiting step here. It seems like that takes a day or two but then again there is a fellow that posts here whose car wast at vpc for 21 days?

Guys,
Someone on the m5 forums whose m5 is on the Freedom figured out how to track the sucker across the atlantic.

From stephenaron:
************
http://www.oceanweather.com/data/

Click on the appropriate part of the map...
Click on marine observations (top)
This map shows where vessals are on that part of the map.
If you cant see the vessal (WDB5483)....then click on "observation table" on the upper right corner.
This will bring up a list of vessels, where you can see ours (WDB5483) near the bottom of the list. It will show the co-ordinates of the vessal and the time observed at that location.

************

It looks like a game of battleship, but its due south of iceland and due west of the southern tip of UK.

Looks like I am on the Freedom with the rest of you. Didn't realize that the ship made so many stops between Bremerhaven and Charleston.

The following link should also work (though the site wasn't working well until recently). You may also have to zoom out a bit to get a better geographical idea of where Freedom is.

All of last week on OC my car was produced not shipped. Checked it again yesterday and noticed it changed to En Route. I wonder if my car is on the Freedom too. It's not showing up yet on the W&W site with my VIN. I'm wondering how long it take for the VIN to go into the W&W system but I suppose everyone's VIN here is already in the system.

If it's not showing up yet it probably didn't make it onto Freedom, but there were two other ships leaving shortly after, one on 10/27 and one on 10/29. If it made it onto one of those the VIN should probably show up in the next day or so.

Thanks. It is showing up today. Looks like I'm on the Mignon. I can't seem to track that ship though so I don't know when it will leave and/or dock.

Well Freedom was scheduled to dock today. Talked to my CA and he expects I could take delivery as early as middle of next week. Hope this is true (and that I don't suffer some other people's misfortune of having multi-week delays at the VPC)! Anyone else hear from their CA?
