It may be that your router is set on a busy channel, you can switch it to say channel 11 that may not conflict with other local routers.

Ultimately it's a BT line so speak with your provider and BT should investigate. I had an engineer visit 2 weeks ago and they fitted a new face plate and replaced a few connections. I now get a constant speed all of the time.

What speed do you get?

That should be quick enough for streaming movies etc. it would slow down if a few people in the house all started streaming and using the broadband at the same time.

If you look on the BT web site it will tell you what the maximum speed your line can support. If you want PM me your postcode and I can check.

Might be worth downloading Malware bytes and running a check.

I had a similar situation recently. Normal then dead slow.

I had a Rootkit on my PC that no virus checker could pick up and Malware bytes was only reporting that it was blocking outgoing connections to a number of Russian sites. It gets downloaded with fake Java and Adobe updates.

Ended up rebuilding my PC

I do find it highly annoying. Why can't it be constantly fast!!

RE: M5, Its not mine its my old mans... Goes like the clappers!!!! I love it Ive still yet to mess about with the EDC and other settings.. I have only go as far as pressing the ''M'' Button and turning the SMG up to full whack and it certainly motors!!!!

I F8888ing hate my internet connection at times, truly shit and I pay for it. I just cannot bear to speak to Orange technical support cell in India every time it goes wrong.

As for M5 Carlos, give it some welly mate, I'd love to see you do some form of donut thing in it like you did in your 335d! They are truly wonderful machines.

Yeah, I moved to Utility Warehouse because they were cheaper, but definitely not as reliable as my former supplier.

I will get some footage when I go to the 'Ring/trackday/Santa Pod mate for you.

I does sound delicious.
