A couple of weeks ago I went with a mate to the "Ultimate Revival" in Manchester to re-live a bit of the early 90s.
Unfortunately it was made up of about 80% skin heads in dodgy track suits, 10% normal people and 10% women dressed as fluorescent lollipops.
There was far more drug use than I remember back in the day (although probably more necessary considering the terrible DJs) and the toilets were flooded with urine and excrement smeared across every cubicle.
Funny how association effects perception, I’m now having trouble listening to my usual CDs..
