Ouch.

What do you do to get such a tough deal?

I was asked to work boxing day and even at treble time that's a very easy decision to make. No chance.

I work for a Data Centre. I'm off for new year and I'm heading up to bonny Scotland (Glasgow) on Boxing day to see friends and enjoy a good drink at Oran Mor to bring in the New Year.

What about us that don't have to work?
Those of us who finished a few days ago and don't go back until the New Year?

Happy Christmas to all, enjoy your time off (regardless of how much and how little you have) with your families

I'm the same as Sheps. Worked my ass off all year and deserve the break.

My November salary had 100 hours overtime and December will not be far off. I can't continue working as many hours and fully deserve my break into the new year.

Sitting here with my daughter and that is all that matters at this time of year.

Be kicking her to bed soon and then got a bike to build. See work still not stopped!

Show off or Lazy Sh1ts was a joke.

I know guys and girls need to work harder to earn each penny as times are tough ATM.

I have a fairly easy life as I work 4 12 hour day's (2 day and 2 night shifts) and then 4 off. I will be joining the 9-5 brigade at the start off Feb. Will be the first time in my career that I've worked these hours.

I've always worked shift or 6-7 day weeks

I just have to work hard as nobody else here to help.

The company is desperate for new employees and can't get them from anywhere.

I did know you were on the wind up.

Garage List
And Merry Christmas from the day shift

12 hour shifts 24th through till the 29th. 4 days, 2 nights. Full of festive spirit too, if previous years are anything to go by, we'll see a very high proportion of post-christmas-eve hangovers, followed by hangings, overdoses, and 'get rid of granny' jobs this morning, before the indigestion sets in for the masses after too much lunch

Talking

+1 for the workers, just fours hours left of a 12 hour day shift, the huge christmas dinner waiting at home is pulling me through
Will be worth it tomorrow as that will be the start of a mini break until the 4th Jan.

Merry Christmas all.

Ian
