Well I'm in the market for one (just test drove one today) actually.

I'd say both. I think it's a great car, and the low miles is great but heres the caveat. It's a BMW with no warranty with potential fat repair bills. No one will buy it for that much knowing that there's no warranty to back up the car. Now if it's lower, buyers ie me can weigh the fact it has no warranty with the savings. Unfortunately your price is too high. Not saying its not worth it but to spend that much money, IMHO doesn't make sense.

Also I'm not a car collector but judging by watching the auction shows on tv, the mileage is too high for it to be a collector car. I say drop it a few grand and it'll find a home.

I sold my 06-330 for $16.5L about three months ago it was clean optioned out and had tasteful mods, but my mileage was in the 60's

I've been shopping around too. I say your price is a tad high as well. Not to say it doesn't sound like a great car. What I have found is BMW's are having some major pricing issues. 2006 should be looked at as a completely different year, ie, 330i/xi and 325i/xi. Then you move to 2007 with 328 and 335. Sure they are the same cars except engine and a few differences here and there but it's enought that an 06 should not price the same as an 07 and up, which many are doing. Pricing it just out of control, look up and down this page here. You'll see 06 330's priced he same as 07-08 335's, sorry but that shouldn't be, maybe in range with a 328. But you'll also see 08 328's with limited options priced the same as an 07 335 loaded with everything. I know of a 07 335xi with every options except the advanced steering option with 67k miles and they are asking $24,995. I think the car is work $18-22k or so.

Let alone to say that some e46's are sorely overpriced in the 18-20k range, being that they are now 2 models old when the f30's hit the showrooms.

Pricing is unfortunately crazy and will be even more so when the f30 rolls out.

^^^Well let the market speak then... Either it doesn't sell or the price gets dropped.

When I test drove an 06 330i two days ago, the dealer (independent mom and pop type) wanted 15k plus with 81l miles. There were interior defects, and spot of torn leather. I personally want it, great project car and I can change out the stuff that needs replacing... However he wouldn't budge. So gotta keep looking.

It's not about if you asking too much or not but if people are willing to pay that much for an 06 330i nowadays... considering you can get a 335i or a M3 for that price and yes with higher mileage. However, GLWS!

That's why I would keep my car until everything falls apart so I don't have to worry about resell value anymore.

Sounds a little high compared to others I have seen sell recently, but those all have 60k+ miles. Price doesn't sound too rediculous though. Put it up for sale it and see if theres any interest. That's the only true way to see if you're over priced.

well, that was what I was getting at. Ever since I had a kid, I haven't had a chance to run around in the bimmer (got an SUV for him) So its got 29kish miles on it now. It hasn't been neglected as I still take it out once in awhile but its often just a quick run down the highway.

Everyone is saying how they have seen 330is in the 16-18k range....but so have I....they all have 80K+ miles on them. If my car had that many miles, trust me, I would have priced it around $17k. With a low mileage car, needing warranty service is not a major concern. If I was buying a car with high mileage, the lack of warranty may make me think about paying premium.

I should get off my lazy ass as someone mentioned and start being active about selling it. But really, don't want to part with it but try telling wifey that.
