FT: E46 LSB M3 - Dinan, Active Autowerke, H&R, Turner, LM's, JL W3's, carbon fiber..

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Looking to trade my E46 M3, needing something more "practical" at the moment for my son's mom to drive him around in.

What I would prefer in a trade:

-335i (2 or 4 door)
-black or white exterior
-black leather interior
-unmolested, close to stock as possible
-cash on top

BUT, I am open to pretty much anything right now, so don't be shy if you want to send me your offer, just don't have a temper-tantrum if I say no

Anyway, info on my M3 is as follows:

2001 BMW M3 Coupe

-Laguna Seca Blau w/ Nappa Black leather & Piano Black trim
-Clean title in hand
-113,000 miles (last 60,000 have been highway commuter miles)
-6 speed Manual Transmission
-Luxury package
-Never smoked in
-No rust
-VIN #: WBSBL93481JR10406
-I have the AutoCheck vehicle history report that I will email to you

*All mods and maintenance have been done in the last 10,000 miles*

I know I am forgetting some, but this is the majority of it
:

Mods:

-Dinan 4:10 differential
-Active Autowerke SS exhaust
-Dinan stage II chip
-K&N full cold air intake
-Turner performance ignition coils
-H&R PCS coilovers
-TC Kline rear ride height adjusters
-TC Kline upper shock mounts
-Dinan front strut bar
-Avus rear adjustable control arms
-TMS rear subframe reinforcement kit
-LM reps, painted dark Gold with red BBS centercaps and ///M valve stem caps
-Almost new Vredestein Sessanta tires
-black lug bolt covers
-Match Schnell front 10mm spacers and extended lugs
-H&R rear 25mm spacers
-drilled and slotted rotors front and rear
-rolled arches front & rear
-35% tint
-///M oil cap
-carbon fiber front splitters
-carbon fiber kidney grills
-carbon fiber fender gills
-carbon fiber hood vent
-carbon fiber emblems including steering wheel
-carbon fiber rear valance and license plate frame
-Aurora angel eyes

-Power Acoustic 2 farad cap
-custom built enclosure in the trunk
-PAC steering wheel control interface (retains functioning radio controls on the steering wheel with an aftermarket head unit)

Maintenance:

-both catalytic converters replaced
-front window regulator replaced
-starter replaced
-DMTL pump replaced
-rear ABS sensor replaced
-diff oil and oil just changed
-A/C blows super cold
-the whole front end was repainted in preparation for 3M Clear Bra, since there was a lot of clear coat damage when I bought the car
-I detail the entire car every Sunday, using ONLY Griots products
-Included with the sale are 8 bottles of Castrol TWS 10W-60 oil, 2 OEM oil filters, BMW coolant, K&N filter cleaning kit, and a Bentley manual
-Also included is a brand new 18" ASA spare wheel & Falken tire

Things to point out:

-The windshield cowel gasket and rear window rubber gaskets have been damaged by the sun (car was in Arizona up until I bought it and I had it in California for a few years)
-Since the wheels were painted, not powdercoated, some of the paint has chipped off and the guy didn't do a great job taping off the wheels prior to paint, they still look great from a few feet away
-There are two tiny dents on the roof, one of them is about the size of a nickel, and the other one is about the size of a 50 cent coin
-There are some scratches on the center console storage flap
-The leather on the upper part of the steering wheel could use some conditioning
-in the interior pictures you can see some of the trim is blue carbon kevlar, this will be replaced with the Piano Black trim in the next day or two

All in all this is a clean example of an E46 M3. All of the work that I didn't do myself was done at Avus Autosport http://www.avusautosport.com/ . It has never given me problems or left me stranded, I realize that the miles are higher than other 2001 M3's however I have always stayed ahead of maintenance. I just drove from Los Angeles to Seattle in one day straight through on Saturday, and it was a comfortable, smooth, worry-free drive. Currently the car is in Tacoma, WA, but I am willing to ship it anywhere in the world, as long as you pay for it of course. I am also willing to drive it to California or Oregon for example if you pay for my gas and return flight, which will be cheaper than shipping it. I have a binder full of receipts that will be included in the sale, which totals just under $20,000 and that only includes about 2/3 of the work (I didn't start keeping receipts until the project was already underway). I realize that the price is higher than KBB or Nada, but considering the money that I've put into it I feel my price is fair and the car is well worth the money to the right person who can appreciate what's been done.

Car is currently located in Bonney Lake, WA 98391, but I am willing to make a drive for the right car.

My phone number is (253)503-9626, email address is AmirAllahyar@aol.com

Any questions, post up or PM.
