Recommendation needed
Can anybody recommend a company that takes on auto insurance claims ?
A "lady" ran into the back of my RS in October. Her insurance company admitted liabilty. But now 2 months later her insurance company is still trying to fob me off with a cash offer, which is lower than my own estimates. Quite clearly wanting to close the book on the issue and leave the hassle of sourcing and repairing the car to me. I am not interested in a cash offer. I want my car FULLY repaired and all (predicated or unseen with repairing a classic) issues paid for. It was no fault of mine she crashed into me. So, I need a company that will chase them relentlessly. Put pressure on them by claiming absolutely everything I can (replacement car etc.). In this day and age it seems the only way to deal with Insurance companies. D.

Tell them you will instruct a claims company to act on your behalf. Hopefully the fear of covering their costs on top of a claim will get them to sort it out properly.
Maybe worth speaking to your own insurance company first. Maybe claim through your own, pay the excess and get them to claim it back. I've never heard anyone getting offered cash to fix their own car. Is that even allowed? Name and shame her insurance company. |
