They never make any performance comparisons between the cars; it's implied by the pass. This can be attributed to driver skill however, but that's not made clear either. The BMW driver comes off as a little arrogant in these commercials, but if you like BMW's, you feel the same way about the Infiniti driver. So what's the point? I guess it's that these two guys work together, and pretend to like each other, although they don't, and because one of them bought the Infiniti he is able to always one-up the other guy. In the real world these cars are very close, but I suppose fantasy is a better selling point!

No, but I have seen the new directv commercial.
Don't relieve stress because bad things can happen. When bad things happen you might wear an eye patch. When you wear an eye patch people might think you're tough. When people think you're tough they will want to find out HOW tough. If they find out how tough you could end up in a roadside ditch. Don't end up in a roadside ditch, cancel your cable and get directv.

These ads are on allllllll the time. A little funny, but they don't make any statements about why the infiniti is so much better---other than their drivers somehow know legions of children with great aim.
