need some opinions!
so after having my aero lip for over a year, the weather and heat over the summer caused it to warp quite a bit right in the center opening. it's that pebble in my shoe. its small, but because i know its there, its annoying to look at :P
i have a few options i'm looking into, trying to stay away from dropping a butt load of cash over fixing a warp issue, because i'm also looking to propose this summer and need some cash. however, i still do love my e92, and just like my girlfriend, she can't be walkin in public if her face was warped. here are my options including the quotes i got from my buddy's shop whos done all my bimmer work thus far (it includes, labor, install, paint, etc etc) 1. remove aero lip, (adhesive if a superglue super strong stuff that was put on by another shop. buddy told me it will tear up the paint. repaint and install a hamann rep lip spoiler. total would run me about $400-500 (for the lip, shipping, repainting my bumper, installing) 2. getting a new aero lip. about $500 for everything (don't really want to go this route) 3. getting a pre lci mtech. about $700 for the front bumper + all parts. another $300 for paint and install. any opinions? mtech is definitely what i want to do but the most expensive. also super rare for me to find, i've been looking for 6-7 months for one now. can't decide.

less than a bill. that's the super cheap solution. or buy the MTECH and be way happy that u did because it'll be a clean and new look. do u buy ur GF cheap botox or give her a new facelift. good luck man.

I would say go with the Mtech front. It will look alot better than the aero lips though.
And yes, You will need to get the bumper, grills, air ducts, fogs and some plastic pieces for under the bumper... |
