interior wrapped in Carbon Fiber pics, info
Got my interior trim wrapped the other day. If you are anywhere near central PA pm me if you are interested in interior wrapping, window trim wrapping, window tint, blacking out taillights, my buddy has a business that just does these items.
This wrap is 3m DI NOC HIGH GLOSS black carbon fiber vinyl, you can get many many different variations. the pics are crappy but in real life it is really nice gloss. he can even do a coating to make your trim super glossy. let me know what you guys think! i am going to make a DIY in 2 weeks or so with him for wrapping window trim on a sedan so stay tuned for a DETAILED DIY in the diy section of course... |

it seems like the dash and the center console are flowing in opposite directions. other than that looks great

i think its just the picture..i know we had a decision to make to do some opposite flow so it would contrast a bit but i forget what i chose...il take better pic and update then..but thanks for pointing that out!
quick question..the only thing we havent 100percent tackled was the ashtray lid..how do you take that apart...we just wrapped over cut out the little chrome accent and tucked corners in the slot from the trim to plastic. please advise if anybody knows |

yeah i checked and it is opposite...i think having console and the ashtray lid opposite makes it pop..personaly im not to worried about it cuz i think its the way i chose it to be done when it was getting wrapped..but ya thats my old phone taking pics...il use the slr to take some professionals shortly.

the ashtray is a total PITA to remove. I had a lot of problems with chipping it and after 30 mins off prying and i got it out, wrapped it, couldnt get it back in...... had to glue it. For my other jobs i just dont remove it and wrap around it using heat and a good exacto.

uhm iv seen like quite a bit of vinyl the day i got it on...but the 3m dinoc high gloss products i believe to be the best quality...many people dont think about this but if you live in areas with cold weather and you drive your car with vinyl wrapped..your heat is on and then sometimes the heat vents makes the corners want to get all weird. but my guy said this shit lasts..he has this little vw romper and he wrapped the ENTIRE CAR outside and inside..its rediculous.

they have a matte finish. but it still has pop....just type in 3m dinoc vinyl on google search or on ebay...its cheap...there are a few detailed forums on here also about how much u need and all that. im not sure what kind of glue u need but it can be found on this forum...u dont have to glue the whole thing...vinyl is self adhesive and the corners only need to have a little bit of glue.
