They've been wittering on about this for years and fuck all has been done about it. I love it when politians claims they're discovered the route of the problem; it's fucking been obvious to anyone with half a brain. Lets just hope they set something in stone that does in fact make a difference.
There's a reason why a chap near me who runs a local bodyshop has a nice large detacted gated property, 3 fairly new Range Rovers, a wife that doesn't work and 2 children - friggin' backhanders left right and centre.

The issue in the story "MP's want you to prove you have whiplash" you can't prove it as it's muscle damage unless you go for very expensive scans " They should stop selling info on because it's wrong and some people are pressured into making a claim

My old insurance company Adrian Flux tried to pressure me to claim after someone gave me a minor rear bump in my old car.
His insurance company also tried hard to make me aware I could claim. After refusing to both, Adrian Flux sold my details to claims specialist. Then they tried everything they could to pressure me into claiming. The insurance companies are playing their part to make all this happen. |

The problem is that the insurance companies activly encourage it because it makes them more money.
There have been examples where insurance companies/brokers have passed on drivers details to claims companies who then ring the driver to "assist them with their claim". The claims company pays the insurance company for the referral. Turns out that the claims company is owned by the same insurance company. So this is all an incestuous self fulfilling scam and the insurance companies are 100% in on it. After all, they will always recover their costs in full the next year by raising premiums. |
