Mods on 06 325i/328

Ive been seeing alot of mods on 335i's (jb4 ect) on here but havent seen any performance mods on the e90 325/328. Are there any out there besides the AA tune chips, intake and exhaust that I can do to get a little more power out of this engine? thanks in advance guys.

$280 for 4whp and this is from the same people who made the JB4

It's because it's not worth the money for performance upgrades. People will usually just tell you to get a 335 if you want performance. It really is true though. $1,500 in mods and you will be lucky to see 15whp more.

You can swap the 330 intake manifold on to a 325/328 ans gain a descent amount of power.

thanks boost. where could I get one of those from and im afraid to ask the price..lol.
im considering doing this when my CPO and free sched maint warranties end.. AA chip BMW performance intake and exhast. but if I could get a 330 intake manifold cheaper I may go that route. anyone know if its possible to supercharge it where it wont do any damage?

my bubble.. just got burst.. I talked to my SA.. and hes going to call me as soon as they get a F30 238 here for a test drive. I may try and trade mine in but I honestly like the E90's LCI look.

you will overpay out of your ass for an F30 when they come out and get ripped on your trade.

what is a 238?

you will be able to gain some power out of the turbo 4, but not as much as you think.

i hate to burst your bubble again, but the 328 isn't your answer.

I honestly think waiting for the f30 is a better idea. I have a feeling the N20 is going to be be pretty responsive to mods. Obviously won't make the power of a tuned n54, but I think it will crack 300whp with some bolt ons and a tune.

Agreed, I just looked it says the 07+ 328 with straight 6 only has 12hp less than the new 328i with turbo 4, so you're looking at maybe 5whp difference. Plus it will take a while for a tune to come out. It may be a hair more, but not really worth it. If you changed out the turbo for a much bigger one it would. But then instant voided warranty on your brand new car.

It's suppose to have 240bhp according to BMW. That would mean 0% loss of horsepower to the wheels.

This article says it dynoed 233whp and is underrated which makes more sense. If thats the case, then it should be good. Especially if your not afraid to mod it and risk your warranty.
