a little helpful info please

I was hoping I could get some answers, my friend has a 2008 335xi ( all wheel drive) . He wants to get the Active AutoWerks AP1 chip. So will the chip work in his Xi opposed to non XI? Are they any cons to this? Please if possible help me out, he wants to pick this up tomorow.

Yes, it will work. But why not get a more popular tune that offers more support? Older model JB's and Proceeds can be had just as cheap.
