Thanks for asking. Here's the story on the car and here's why I'm willing to let it go so cheap (and I even left room for lowball offers!):
I will get title in my hand for a serious buyer. I dont buy cars outright because I can make more money on investing than I have to pay my bank in loan interest. The title is a clean title in Ohio but for some reason CarFax shows a salvage (not junk) in Nevada. Nevada couldn't/wouldn't give me a straight answer on anything without spending hundreds of dollars on it, so I haven't ever pursued it because it makes no sense to do so. What I do know is that the car has been serviced multiple times over multiple owners by BMW of Cincinnati and BMW of Charlotte and they have never given an indication of anything being wrong with it. There is some evidence that it was hit in the front left, but nothing related to the frame or chasis...just the fender I purchased the car from an acquaintance and I know it's history since mid-2008. This July when the BMW warranty expired, BMW Cincinnati sold me a premium warranty on the car for 3yrs or 100k miles and it has been serviced as a part of that warranty, too (window regulator). To the best of my knowledge that warranty can be transferred. Bottom line is that if you are willing to suck up a bit of a weird back story, you'll get a great car for a fraction of the price. I love this car but wanted something bigger...which I bought tonight. |

Great price for the miles, too bad I'm not in the market for a car now. BTW Carfax is retarded, we bought a car with clean record and 3 years later Carfax showed it was a lemon. I contacted them why the record took 3 years to show up, and they gave me some BS how they constantly update their system and so on.
Good luck with sale, at this price and milege it should sell quickly. |

I actually didn't do it, so I can't say. It was done by my friend who owned it before me and he is way more talented than me with that kind of thing.
I know the cloth was purchased from BMW so it couldn't have been cheap |

Thanks for the enthusiasm!
It's not gone yet but there are a few folks trying to get their ducks lined up for it. Hopefully it won't hang around too long. |

Don't mean to TJ. But you said I am just wondering what that is and how it works? I know about buying and leasing cars. But, never heard of anything like you have mentioned.

That's an easy one:
I financed the BMW through US Bank last year at .9% interest. I have an interest bearing savings account that currently pays >1.2% In other words: I make ~.3% on my money by letting the bank pay for the car on my behalf. |

Very interested. I am located in Atlanta. I can't PM because I am new to the board. Shoot me an e-mail at johnaspinwallgarland@hotmail.com. I have several questions about the car.
