Guys I am trying to sell my 2008 335i, Black on Black. Car has 29,000 miles and the warranty runs until Feb 26, 2013. I am asking 23,000. I had to buy a SUV for work and need to move it. Just FYI this is a buyback title car. Found out via ebay, wish all sellers would be more upfront when selling their cars online.

I am not trying to hide that it is a buy back. Many of them are. Hence the 23,000 price tag. Here is a copy of the ebay listing.

I am selling because I need a suv for work and will be asking well below KBB to sell quick. The car is beautiful and drives like a new car still. I reduced the price to 23,000 obo. The car is a BMW buy back. When the 335i came to the U.S.A they didn't know we had ethanol in the gas and it was eating the seals in the fuel pump. BMW extended the warranty on the fuel pump to 110,000 miles. If you need anymore info on the situation please let me know I can send you all the info. I have had no issues with the car at all and BMW stands behind the car and will still allow you to extend the warranty as they would with any other. "

Before I bought the car I went to the local BMW dealer with the VIN and asked for a printout of all the records for the car. It shows the car was in for the fuel pump 3 times in cali. It was bought back and sat until they figured out the problem. They still stand behind the car and even offered to extend the warrant as they would any other BMW. In the state of Alabama they don't recognize the car as a lemon due to the amount of buy backs and because of the fuel pump. The title for Alabama is deemed clear. Everyone that called was told about the car being a buy back.

a buyback title is more commonly known as a lemon

if it's really due to the fuel pump, it's prob not a big deal if you're willing to commit to the car for a long time. you can probably call any bmw dealer w/the vin and they'll give you the details. just know that going forward the value of the car is greatly reduced and you'll need to explain the situation to any potential buyer...
