Any wheel recommendations for this color?

Here's what the car looks like, right now. It's got the stock 17" style 161 wheels with RFT's on it.

Pretty much everything (cept for the interior) is black on this car, except for a few trim pieces and the wheels. I've pondered going with black M3 GTS wheels, but I'm not sure how that would look, and they might look large, being 19". I'm sure the stance matters, as well.

What sorts of wheel recommendations do you guys have for this car? Do you have any examples? I've pondered going with style 313, but those might look a tad big on the e90.

I don't think I want to stick with 17" wheels, just because they seem small with this car. 18" might be a sweet spot, though. Go nuts. I've a completely open mind here.

basically you wanna know what wheels would look good on a black e90 x-drive.

pretty much any wheel 18inch or more will look goofy on it until you lower your car.... A LOT. that xi suspension is like from an x3 or something with that ridiculous ride height. my suggestion is to go with 18-inch in any shade between silver and gunmetal. just not black.

wheel choice pretty much depends on your budget.

I'm not sure. I rather like it when the axles are centered in the wheel arches. It means the width of the tire is more consistent from the body panels all the way around. I do agree that 18 inches would probably be a good size. What are the options for picking colors of rims? I really wanted to go for the M3 GTS wheels, given their color and amount of metal, but, I think those only come in a 19" size.
