Retrofit for I-Drive & Harman Kardon

Yes it is possible guys, my dealer contacted me today and it is possible to retrodit the i-drive system, including the gps & harman kardon speakers. They will remove the dashboar & change the center console

1M's here in Indonesia do not have the i-drive system because it makes the car more expensive. It is already around 125k-130k usd for a basic 1M here in Indonesia.

I'd like to share this possibility to change the i-drive system for those who wants to change it.

Anything retrofitted through BMW will cost you an arm and a leg. If you think the car is expensive when ordered with iDrive and HK, wait until you hear what it's going to cost to retrofit it - factory options are always cheaper.

Depending on import taxes it may actually be cheaper to install after purchase.

Costs around 13-15k usd.

There are 30 1M in Indo, maybe 40 final hehehe
