Summer set up. Need advice.

Hey, guys.

I live in Ohio. And hope there will be no blizzard any more this winter.

I'm going to put 18x8.5 +35 front / 18x9.5 +35 rear on my 335i

My current plan is 235/40R18 for front and 265/35R18 for rear.

And dropped with KW V2.

I remember 245/40R18 is perfect fit for 18x8.5, don't know if 235 will very stretched or not.

Also, is this right tire size?

Can I run 5mm spacers on all four wheels?

My two choices of tire are continental extreme contact DW or DWS. I love my DWS when I had my evo.

I have winter setup with blizzak ws-60. The reason I want DWS is blizzak ws-60 is stud-less snow tire, if I have DWS then I can throw them on in early Feb or keep DWS on my car until really bad winter hit my area, and ws-60 has bad dry traction and makes fuel consumption goes up.

Really want know what you guys think.

Thanks.

Good choice of widths and offsets. I think you could try 245/275 tires and no spacers (as opposed to 235/265 with spacers) it's a more elegant solution, they should fit perfectly with no rubbing but not much room left either. But it depends, do you have a coupe or a sedan ? The sedan has more room at the rear. However with your widths and offsets the 245/275 combo should fit perfectly on either car. You could try a 3-5mm spacer if there is room left but don't buy the spacers until you finish install the wheels.

Thanks!

Mine is E92 coupe.

What I've worried is the speed difference, since my stock set up was 225/45 17 all four...
