BMW 2011 1M at BMW dealership

Hey guys,

I just thought I'd let you know I've recently traded my 1M to a dealership in MA. If you want the contact info PM me and I'll fill you in. They haven't listed it yet but I know what the selling price will be and you'll be very interested. It's a VO in mint condition with every option possible. Also has CF spoiler and autobahn clear bra professionally installed. Windows are tinted to 20%, so if you don't want it removed, it may be in your best interest to move quickly.

Why did you trade it so soon? What did you get?

What "horror story" happened to your former VO 1M last November ? Was that part of the equation to get rid of it + did it have an impact on the resale price ?

Nice metaphor for "an airbag".

Google's cache has a copy of the original 'horror' story - not sure why it is a big deal and needed to be edited/removed...except for the smoking engine which shouldn't have caused any damage...

Thanks. Seems indeed much ado about virtually nothing (mirror issue). My apologies to mfmoses if he feels offended. Still puzzling though why the 1M had to go after such a short period of ownership (even if longing for a stronger ///M car). Got to respect mfmoses' choice, even when letting go such a limited edition motoring marvel as the 1M.

I am overtly offended at the way you guys handle fellow members. I'm trying to help you out and you investigate as far as to search google's cache? This is as close to malicious as possible and I had done/said nothing in the past to offend any of you. You should really be ashamed of yourselves and consider taking a step back, appreciating life, and the fact were all lucky enough to own these cars. I hope this thread is deleted not to hide anything, but because it makes me ill that people go to such lengths with such passionate mal intent, when there are greater opportunities in life you're missing out on. Get off this forum for five minutes, put yourself back into society, and go enjoy that work of art you've worked so hard to own. I wish you all the best and feel embarrassed for what's taken place.

Sincerely,
Michael

Anytime someone posts that they want to sell their car and erase previous posts about it from a "horror story" thread, it is entirely reasonable to do some research.

Cheers and enjoy your M5.

Strange Thread Dude.

I guess I'm also confused to why someone would "trade" this car in.

The car just kicks A$$ and there are plenty of people who wanted the car and couldn't get one because of the short supply.

Not to be mean or malicious it just doesn't make sense. Enjoy the M5 bud.

Huh? I'm missing something here. You don't own the car now so how about tell us all what happened? If nothing else where is the car now?

Wow, I am quite shocked by this post

There was no mal intent - please re-read what I had posted

As another poster said, when you post a car for sale and then go back and delete your history it brings your credibility into question. People have a tendency to assume the worst - evidenced by the assumptions in this thread that your ghost was an airbag.

I did not re-post what your wrote in your thread, I only intended to put those thoughts to rest so that a new buyer could feel at ease when potentially purchasing your car. How would you feel if you were the buyer and a month or two from now came on here only to see that people were insinuating that your car was in a collision with airbag deployment?

"helping us out" by covering up the past doesn't do a service to anyone.

Anyways, I apologize if you you mistook me checking google's cache for the story to be in someway malicious. I will now go and rejoin society.

^^^ THIS

No need to apologize IMO. Only person over-reacting is seller himself. By deleting posts it would optically appear trash is being swept under the rug, so you did no wrong going the extra mile and clear the air. Just bad judgement from OP leading to unnecessary confusion and speculation which he inflicted upon him.
