BMW 1M with skibox possible?

Hi!

I am looking for a new and fun car.
The 1M is my goal but I am wondering if there is possible to mount a skibox on the roof?

Thanks

Wouldn't see why you can't, it works on the other 1ers so for that it would be the same on the 1M.

Can you still order a 1M in Sweden?

My 135i has the pass thru ski sack behind the rear seat center arm rest. It came with the cold weather pack. Isn't that standard on the 1M? Or maybe it was bundled with the heated seats? Probably depends on the market the car was sold in too.

Right now there is like this.
1 new white 2011.
1 used orangea 2011.
1 or a few places in the production for april, available to spec yourself.

Thanks for your info.

If I place an order it will be a black one.

Should be able to mount that on the roof. Have not checked but cannot see why not!

Buy the car! I love it!

Great with more Swedes on the forum! Buy the 1M and join the M-car meet in Västerås in June!

Ski sack is optional in Belgium (option 468)
According to my invoice: €152,89 (excl. taxes) = €185,00 (incl. taxes)

Here's the ski/snowboard info from the 1M price list (2011):
Skisack modular mit Wechselrahmen* - option 468
€151,26 (excl. taxes) = €180,00 (incl. taxes)

Staufach-Modul für Fahrzeuge mit Skisack (SA 468) - option ZJ9
€72,27 (excl. taxes) = €86,00 (incl. taxes)

Dachbox 320 silber oder schwarz (L x B x H: 190 x 63 x 39 cm)
Benötigte Skiauflagen sind separat zu bestellen
option ZJA
€335,29 (excl. taxes) = €399,00 (incl. taxes)

Dachbox 460 silber oder schwarz (L x B x H: 230 x 82 x 37 cm)
Benötigte Skiauflagen sind separat zu bestellen
option ZJA
€565,55 (excl. taxes) = €673,00 (incl. taxes)

Skiauflagen für Dachbox 320 - option ZJA
€24,37 (excl. taxes) = €29,00 (incl. taxes)
für Dachbox 460 - option ZJA
€31,93 (excl. taxes) = €38,00 (incl. taxes)

Ski- und Snowboardhalterung für bis zu sechs Paar Ski ohne Stöcke, vier Paar Ski mit Stöcken oder zwei Paar Ski und zwei Snowboards
option ZJD
€110,92 (excl. taxes) = €132,00 (incl. taxes)
*"Skisack modular mit Wechselrahmen": Dackel, what are they referring to with "Wechselrahmen"?

Thule

It has these little covers that flip up to reveal a place to screw a Thule rack right into the frame of the car. It's ingenious really. There is a special allen wrench that comes with the rack so that no-one can steal your rack unless I guess they have the wrench. That way you don't scratch the car by mounting a rack to it. I use this on my 3 series, but my 1M also has these.
