Looks good, though that "M6" grill emblem is a bit out of place IMO. Interesting how they kept the same HP rating as on the F10 M5, there was some speculation it would be 580 or so.

Nice clean lines. Very gorgeous cars..
Two comments.. I like the omission of the shark fin antenna. I like the vert, but wish they got rid of the goofy recessed back window. Never liked that. |

Absolutely stunning pair of cars. Great colours too.
Really like the details, wasn't a fan of the steering wheel at first but I think the interior looks fantastic too. Hopefully this bodes well for M2/M3/M4! |

It seems like all new BMWs were designed as M cars first. All of the other series cars are awkwardly proportioned or just ugly in some cases in my opinion. But it all works itself out with the Motorsport treatment.

The roof, the more aggressive front in comparison with the M5, the color (now it is uber official that orange is the trendiest color), interior as a whole are all impressive. The back is not that original or harmonious imo. I bet the future M6 Grand Coupe will be even better looking than this.

Indeed. Apparently more red in Sakhir orange than in Valencia Orange.
Further, it seems that the three front intakes design of the 1M with both, uh, a vampire fangs alike fascia (the first part of the 1M that gets scratched or scuffed when rubbing a low speed bump, sidewalk or steep parking slope ), could be the beginning of a new design trend for ///M cars. Strange, I've seen that face before... As noted in an earlier post: wondering whether it would be an improvement, design wise, if the side air intakes of the 1M would feature exactly the same mesh grille as the one sporting the central intake (as on the M6 and on the future M3), instead of those unprotected "holes". 1M mouth M6 mouth Mouth of Bram Stoker's dude from Transylvania |
