Just Ditched the Runflats

Just got the Michelin Pilot Super Sports installed, going away from the stock Potenza RFTs.

I can just say one thing:

WHAT A DIFFERENCE.

Smoother, softer, more glued to the road, less road noise, better performance all around.

Great, A+ tires and I will NEVER go back to RFTs.

I can't believe how bad they make the car feel in comparison to real tires. I'm almost pissed I drove on the runflats for 2 years, but all is well now.

Thats what happened to me after i put on non rfts. I will gladly sacrifice a little ride quality for my piece of mind.
But i do agree,what a difference.

I think I am going to stick to mine. They seem fine to me and I like the idea that I don't have to get stuck somewhere changing a tire. I am not a fan of the price though.

Replaced my RFTs and now the ride is excellent and still feels like a BMW should feel. No longer do I need to watch out for every single road imperfection here in the suburbs of NYC. I had Michelin Primacy MXM4s installed and now I have better stopping distance and the wet traction is so certain that I can only describe as the road doesn't seem to be wet. I added a BMW spare tire kit and will never look back. Selected the MXM4 based on Tire Rack's test results.
