Valencia Orange Touch-up Paint

Is Valencia Orange touch-up paint available online?

Another mfg source would be fine. It's my understanding that Land Rover has an identical color equivalent.

Don't get the one from automotivetouchup. It doesn't look anything like VO, even though they say it does. I think others have tried Dr. Colorchip.

Touch-up paint:
Automative Touchup: https://www.automotivetouchup.com/ch...model=1-Series (VO is listed)
Dr. Colorchip: http://www.drcolorchip.com/ (although don't see VO in their BMW list)

Color codes:
300 = Alpine White III
475 = Black Sapphire Metallic
B44 = Valencia Orange Metallic

Some experiences:

At first glance, the orange colors listed on Automotive Touchup for Range Rover over the past decade differ from VO:
2012: "Stormer Orange Metallic": https://www.automotivetouchup.com/ch...l=All%20Models
2007: "Tambora Flame": https://www.automotivetouchup.com/ch...l=All%20Models
2006: "Flare Metallic" - "Vesuvius Orange Metallic": https://www.automotivetouchup.com/ch...l=All%20Models
2005: "Tangiers Orange": https://www.automotivetouchup.com/ch...l=All%20Models

Interesting. Did you get it from your dealership ? Touch-up paint or spray ? BMW product number/code of the bottle ?

I also have an original from BMW that I picked up at my dealer here in TX. They had to order it from another dealership. At the time, they only showed 2 bottles in the US. This was 2 months ago though. I'll look on the bottle here shortly, and get you a product number.

I ordered some just in case. The dealer took about a week to get it in. Comes with paint and clear coat.

I ordered mine from my local dealer a month or so ago. Seems like it was ~$30. Two bottles, one color the other clear coat.

Order some from your dealer. Seems though they have to special order it from Germany as they don't carry many bottles over here since its new?

If they eventually offer VO, drcolorchip is the way to go. Got a small one on my bumper; ordered the AW kit and you can't tell it ever happened. Their system leaves no pit or thick residue like regular touch up paint.

Ah yes. I did earn my first badge of honor as a stone chip.
Funny how there's white underneath that Valencia Orange.

Alike the signature stone-chip at the last line of all of your posts ?

Front spoiler: plain black under the VO paint. The vampire fangs alike lowest points of the front spoiler fascia easily scuff/scratch against a steep slope or a sidewalk curb. Joined that club too a couple of days ago when entering, at virtually no speed, a parking lot with a steep sidewalk curb (1M is hanging too low for that one, despite the stock setup - lowering the 1M is out of the question for me). The scuffed part is only visible when you put your head under the front spoiler ...but YOU know it's there. Seems that BSM has an advantage over AW and VO.

I posted this in another but similar thread, belongs to here more:

Today I bought the BMW Paint Stick in VO, I have ordered it through my dealer here in Chile and it took a bit more than a week to arrive from Germany. Can't comment on price since everything about BMW is absurdly priced here but they gave me a good discount and I felt it was acceptable (for Chile) and other options were not available anyway. I'll try it this week-end and comment on how good or shitty it is, maybe with before and after photos too. For now, here is the BMW part number (warning: may be different for US) for people who need, especially for those whose dealers have no idea: B44 VO met. 51 91 2 218 329. Comes in 2 little bottles with the name on top: ColorSystem BMW.

Think all of us need to get some touch-up paint, to cover those few tiny white spots on the bonnet. Stone-chips are simply inevitable.

Received my Dr. Colorchip kit. It works wonderfully.

A word of advice for those with Valencia Orange 1Ms...

Be content with a single-coat treatment using this kit.
If you get greedy with multiple coats, it gets too dark and you'll have to work hard to get it out and start over again.

It fills the chip with the right color, but it doesn't work as a fill-in for the crevice.
