Reps...

Hey Guys,

Wanted to pick your brain on a much talked about subject. Replica Wheels. I live in Montreal, we are famous for our bad roads and potholes. I used to have HRE rims on My Z4 and they did not survive the roads one of them cracked.
I need to buy rims for my Vert, thinking of getting 19" BBS LM-R. BUT I don't feel like always being paranoid or throwing my money away. The alternative is getting reps. It's not a financial decision it's more of a practicality. Whats your take on this ?

What are the disadvatages of a "rep"? Are they manufactured according to specs or are they anything like Rolex knock-offs?

If you can't avoid bad roads, reps would be more practical. Just don't get bbs caps and try to pass them off as real...
