traction

After reading reviews of the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires I decided to try them. I have been using Hankook Ventus V12's and thought I was getting good traction. The Hankooks are a decent tire for mileage, I was averaging over 30k miles per set, but wow these Michelins are worth double the price in terms of traction. I cannot believe the difference, all the comments I read about them are true, I should not have waited so long. My 2 cts.

Congrats! I just ordered Michelin Pilot Super Sports on 19" Avant Garde M310s. I have yet to receive them, but from what I've read, they're crazy good. Are you running stock wheels?

I was just about the pull the trigger on Hankooks and I see this. Back to the drawing board I guess.

The Hankook V12 EVO is a very good value oriented tire for the price, but it is not equivalent to the Michelin Super Sport.

No I am running 19" wheels on 265/30s and 245/35s. They are crazy good, I never knew what real traction was like till now. Now spinning tires in 3rd gear even with 420 WHP is tough now. Got to learn how to drive it again,it's completely different.

My set cost me $1500.00 at Americas tire (US Oregon) for 2x 265/30/19 and 2x 245/35/19 this included mounting, balancing, old tire disposal, and free replacement for road hazard coverage. Sounds like a comparable deal.
