PWM kit leaking?
I'm running the PWM kit (very happy, great mod), since 2 months i'm just using 100% meth.
Since 2 weeks the kit does not work properly anymore. My indicator light blinks just very shortly now and then but useless, not even long enough to switch maps. I have been monitoring my parking spot, but it does not seem that my WW resevoir is leaking, altough my low level indicator of my WW is always on, even after filling up with 5 liters of 70/30. My idea is that it is either: A leak in my resevoir, but I wonder should I not notice that on my parking spot, or a faulthy meth sensor, as in it does flow, but the sensor does not notice so no map switchting occures etc. Wondering what the experts think about this case...

If i'm thinking correctly, even if it was leaking 100% meth would evaporate so you could not be able to see it. Maybe fill up the tank with water and mark off the level you filled it at, then check it a couple days later

When you hit the windshield washers and you spray meth onto the windshield does it have a weak spray onto the windshield? If it is very weak your filter may be clogged in the ww tank.

Here is the link to my DIY for cleaning the filter if it is a weak flow. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=558259

We see a lot of high-end cars that are purchased in FLorida, AZ or Cali and are filled with non-antifreezing WW Fluid. Then, when they get up to MN and the temp drops low...the fluid freezes and cracks the WW Pump. It happens pretty frequently as well. When mine cracked it leaked out quite fast; so there's no way it would've evaporated before seeing it. Perhaps if your leak is extremely slow it could evaporate before becoming visible |
