HKS recirculation question...?
Hey all,
I have an HKS SSQV leftover from my previous car, I can't get it to sell and I want to put it to use. As far as I've seen, all the charge pipe kits that include an HKS or Synapse BOV are set up to VTA and I do not want to VTA for various reasons. After several attempts to "search for and find" my answers, my question(s) are; does anyone sell a kit to recirculate a single BOV? Is it even safe to recirculate 1 BOV for 2 turbos? My logic tells me that I could just fab up a "T" fitting and recirculate, in fact I think someone has done that with a synapse, but I can't be sure if that's as safe as the normal 2 BOV set up. Any insight would be appreciate! |

Well...after consulting with a few shops in the area, they all told me that even though it's a MAP system, I should still recirculate if it came that way from the factory. One shop even recommended the forge recirculation setup over an HKS, they said it yields more consistent tunes, from what they've experienced. I know a lot of people VTA, but I just want to be sure before I purchase a charge pipe...
