Question Question about 189 series 18" wheels on E90 (1st thread)

Hi guys,

Totally new here but I have been on 4Runner forums for awhile.

I just bought a 2006 E90 330i manual with the sport package and 162 series wheels. It is Titanium Silver.

I would like to put a set of 189 series wheels on it. I believe this is possible since I have seen pictures on this forum and google images.

Question 1: is there a model number for this specific type of wheel located inside the wheel?

I will be buying on CL and BMW produced this wheel for multiple cars over several years. If there is a specific identifier # that is on every 189 series wheel that would help me out a lot when buying.;

Question 2: I have the sport package with staggered tires. Should the wheels I buy be staggered as well. (2) 18x8 AND (2) 18.5 or is it just the tires that are bigger.

Yes, I read the first post of the E90 wheels sticky but it doesn't mention 189 wheels so I created this post. User name is because I went to UCSC.

Thanks

-Brian

The rims are 8.0 and 8.5 respectively on a "staggered" setup.

Thanks
